Expanding upon traditional internships, the InternSHPE program provides opportunities for interns to gain a sense of community and build upon their professional development through a combination of activities like MentorSHPE, self-paced courses, monthly workshops like overcoming imposter syndrome, and much more.

In 2023/2024, SHPE partnered with Medtronic to support a cohort of 53 interns and Cummins to support a cohort of 11 interns with hands-on corporate experience while cultivating a community of support along the way.
